Ever since my baby bump became noticeable...I've encountered many aunties/ salesgirl in the dept store who like to talk to me and 'speculate' about the gender and birth timing of my baby..based on the shape of my bump...

Yesterday I was at the foodcourt waiting for my order and two aunties from the stall next door asked me if I am expecting a baby girl, cos they felt that my features and body shape did not change alot...I laughed and said 'No, I am expecting a boy'..but at the back of my mind i was thinking, 'wait a minute, have you seen me before? how come you all know that I did not change much?'? hahaha...It was pretty funny....and our conversation went on for 5 minutes until my food order was ready....

Then today, while buying pancake, the auntie asked if I am expecting a set of twins!!!! And I laughingly told her 'No, my tummy is big cos I am due in a month's time'..and they went on to ask about the gender of my bb, etc..etc....and they were so happy for me that my first bb is a bb boy, dunno why Aunties always have the notion that Hubbies (in general) will be very happy if the first bb is a boy...(I'll always tell them that my hubby prefers a bb girl!!) and the 'interview' went on for another 3 minutes....

And for the past two weeks, I've got well-meaning aunties on the streets speculating that I am going to give birth soon cos my tummy is lying really low now...and that got me really nervous...haha...

Seems that when you are preggie and walking on the streets, you became the object of 'speculations' for aunties....hehe...

Hehe... after the gender of my bb is confirmed, my folks & relatives asked me if my hubby is happy about it.. as he gave the impression to most ppl that he prefers a boy (the traditional type). I told them: "Yes,he is happy cos he prefer a girl."
